- 1 / 5By Arky FoxWe have been going to the Gorleston cafe for ages and the food is good value and it has a pleasant atmosphere however it's getting worse. Requesting hot food around 1.30 is met with anger and irritation from the staff who always say "We finish hot food soon!" - "this includes soup. To avoid a clash we instead ask for snack items like sausage rolls and sandwiches but these are often sold out or they refuse to prepare more sandwiches "to avoid waste"! This is lunch time on Saturdays and should be a peak time for service. The attitude of the staff is genuine anger that we are asking for food at 1.30 and they are extremely unhelpful. We used to enjoy going here and liked the food and the cafes in Cherry Tree and Lathams are genuinely helpful if they are out of stock of an item but we are fed up being met with such unnecessary hostility.May 02, 2017
